An incompetent distributor management system resulted in falling distributor numbers. Disengaged learners intensified a sharp fall in course completion and adoption rates.

Solution


We were assigned the task of creating an exceptional learning environment despite user roles. The AI-powered LMS now hosts a personalized learning experience with course recommendations and relevant topic suggestions. Designed beyond the limits of a traditional LMS, the new learning management system with AI capabilities creates personalized learning opportunities for each learner.

Automated admin console


Tedious and repetitive tasks such as enrollment, course allocation and management, assigning specific courses for each distributor, and managing their progress are all automated. The automated content management system also screens uploaded courses by various authors for legal and regulatory compliance.

The learning plans are connected to the enrollment process where courses are allocated to each distributor depending on their role as Independent Business Owners (IBOs), Elite Customers, or Customers. IBOs will be assigned courses on lead generation, sales prospecting, sales enablement, and other brand-related courses. Some courses will be automatically made mandatory for all IBOs. Elite customers will have early access to offer catalogs and new product launches. Customers will only have access to product catalogs and brand information.

Hybrid compensation plan


We worked out different compensation plans and what suited best was the combination of Binary and Unilevel MLM plans. This combinational plan focused mainly on improving sales by incentivizing distributors accurately and in real time. The hybrid plan was built on a highly advanced commission engine that ensures accurate payouts and reduces the chances of overpayment.

The commission engine also generates critical commission analytics and reports to analyze the performance of the compensation plan in each phase of business growth. It detects even the minutest flaws in payments that might have been caused by manual errors. The commission engine is also built to scale with the expanding distributor and customer base.

Loyalty program


The constructive loyalty module was designed to attract new customers and increase customer lifetime value. This also contributed to increasing distributor retention rates and improved brand loyalty. The rewards and loyalty program encouraged distributors to take their business further resulting in increased distributor engagement.

The customizable loyalty module was integrated with all loyalty program types making it easier for the company to adopt the suitable type of loyalty program according to the situation. Learners found it interesting to accumulate reward points on each level of their course from adoption to completion. Scalable learning platform


Foreseeing the growth of the company, the LMS was built on a scalable platform that could accommodate large volumes of data together with thousands of courses and learners. This also enables high performance and low load times. There was also a significant increase in the number of concurrent users and a substantial reduction in the number of support tickets.

Distributor LMS


Upon enrollment, each distributor will have a learning management portal exclusively custom-made for them. With a view to distributor competency development, training modules that are uniquely designed will be uploaded by the admin covering various aspects of the distributor journey such as lead generation, sales prospecting, compliance, security, and sales enablement. The advanced learning management system supports gamification and mobile learning promoting continuous learning and upskilling.

Distributors can also upload courses to sell and the same will appear in the eLearning platform post admin approval. Distributor LMS had separate segments to address distributor concerns every step of the way including competitor awareness, industry trends, customer preferences and behaviors, etc.

Social learning


The social learning platform gives distributors and learners a definitive learning experience to communicate and collaborate ideas outside of the learning space. This gave learners greater control over learning helping disengaged learners connect and collaborate with other fellow learners. Social learning modules especially made it to the millennials and generation z and the learners were seen as increasingly engaged and competitive.

Distributors enjoy a varied learning experience through group discussions and practical experience sharing. Social learning becomes a platform for distributors to refer and learn among sponsors and more experienced distributors.
