decreased sales

A slow start

The first quarter statistics are out, and it seems like the direct selling businesses faced a slow start in the first quarter with not-so-satisfying sales figures. Although this does not cause a severe hit in the growth statistics of most brands, the second quarter is sure to bring in more good news. Smaller and bigger brands are gearing up to yield better results in terms of growth and revenue in the forthcoming quarters.

The decline was felt across all the countries and continents alike. Direct selling brands are leveraging the power of AI and innovative solutions to stay abreast of changing market trends and customer demands in the second quarter.

providing nutrition

Nourishing the future

The USANA Foundation has built 100 Garden Towers in aid of malnourished residents of the remote island of Malapascua, Cebu. With this initiative, USANA aims to provide sustainable access to nutrition for the lesser privileged residents and then generate income by selling surplus vegetables.

The USANA Foundation President Brian Paul said that with this initiative, the brand is aiming at improving the quality of health and life of residents at Malpascua. The foundation also hopes that the Garden Tower will make a positive impact on the community. What makes Garden Towers stand out is that it can hold up to 120 plants and would consume only 30% less water than traditional farming.

prioritizing people

Prioritizing people

With the beginning of quarter two, Direct Sellers Association of Canada said that they are focusing on strengthening their customer-centric policies. As a result, Canadian direct selling companies are planning to focus more on recruitment and retention to rebuild their foundation of business growth.

Under the plan, direct sellers would initiate more in-person events, conduct targeted training and sales accelerator programs. Canadian direct sellers are all set to create a unique pattern in business by reinventing traditional business policies and upcycling them to the current trends and market pulse.
